Anant Singh, a South African film producer who challenged apartheid and won

Singh produced the first anti-apartheid film made in South Africa and has produced South Africa’s most prevailing anti-apartheid films, one starring America’s Whoopi Goldberg. Singh has produced over 45 films in the last 15 years, including Cry, the Beloved Country which starred Academy Award nominees James Earl Jones and Richard Harris. But his real love is to produce socially relevant films that showcase South African stories and talent internationally.
